About
I’m A. Z. Adams — Asi, to most who know me. I’m a minister, author, and teacher, and I live with my wife Rebekah and our six children on fifty acres in central Texas, together with a flock of sheep, a noisy congregation of chickens, and whatever animals the children have most recently talked us into.
My writing and teaching come from that life. They are not about farming, exactly, and not only about theology — they are about the place where the two meet: the table where we break bread with neighbors, the paddock where a boy trains a wild mustang, the ordinary evenings where faith either becomes a culture or remains a theory. I write and teach for anyone trying to build something durable — a family, a household, a community of faith — in an age that builds almost nothing to last.

The Upward Way
Every morning I host The Upward Way, a daily Bible reading podcast — available on Apple Podcasts and wherever you listen. The Bible study is also on YouTube at Heritage Press.
