Unto the Least of These

Sister Marian’s 70th birthday celebration was more than just a milestone—it was a moving tribute to a life poured out in love. Though she never married, Marian became “Aunt Maresy” to generations, weaving a vast spiritual family through simple acts of care, hospitality, and joy. From babysitting grandchildren to surprise turkey bacon miracles, her story unfolded in laughter, tears, and testimonies from around the world—each one a witness to the quiet, powerful legacy of a woman who made everyone feel like family.

Everyday Miracles

How many miracles is God performing in our lives that we don’t even see because our hearts are hardened? And so we ask, “What miracle will You perform for us that we might believe?” Yet, as Jesus told them, “You’re not following Me for the miracles but because you ate bread and are full.” He was saying they were not looking for spiritual fulfillment from above, from the source of transcendence, but for natural, material fulfillment from below, from the immanent world.

The Power of Attitude—Grace in Action

We place so little emphasis on our attitudes, treating them as uncontrollable reactions to circumstances, people, and forces beyond our control. But that’s a lie. If we believe we’re merely puppets of external dynamics, there’s no freedom in that. The truth is, my attitude is the one thing no one can take from me.

Answering the Call to Sacrifice 

Last Sunday, we reflected on our daily lived communion in Christ—our fellowship within His body, marked by the mutual giving and receiving of God’s manifold gifts and grace. Today, I want to revisit that message to encourage deeper personal reflection and strengthen our resolve to embrace the gifts God has entrusted to us. By overcoming self-doubt, we can unlock abundant fruit, not only in our own lives but throughout our community.
